Share The Love This Valentines 💕

So as Valentine’s Day is this month, I thought it would be a great excuse to talk about love. Not the kind of love I have for Pearl, but the love I feel for my customers, my staff, and my clients. In a world full of internet trolls and divided opinions on political views and so forth I think we can all agree on one thing. If we care for our staff and customers and treat them with respect kindness and love then we get not only a sense of satisfaction but greater results and respect.

Glitterbels Staff As a brand owner, I am at the forefront of customer interaction and I do this to show I respect their opinions and that I do this job so they can also create great nails using products that at the end of the day, they unknowingly help create with their wonderful suggestions and ideas.

Pink Popsicle Appreciation goes a long way to maintaining a strong bond and trust between you and your clients or staff, so incentives are a great way to keep moral and motivations high, and with clients a Loyalty card is a great incentive to keep coming back and in return, you will reward them with a discount. With so many salons it’s imperative to keep the clients coming back so be on time, produce great work, work in a clean comfortable environment and get to know them.

Elliott & Annabel Ask questions, we all know that when we are in the technician’s chair we almost become a client therapist, so remembering their child’s name or an important event in their life shows how much you care a value their custom. Client record cards are a great way to see when your customer’s birthday is and have a little card ready for them and a small discount or free nail art, this goes a long way to creating a loyal customer base and regular income.

Flawless Unbelivabel GelStay positive! You are what you attract, and staying positive about your work and customers helps keep customers positive about coming to you! If you post on social media that you are dreading a day in work, then why would any client be excited about their appointment that day? So stay focused on the day ahead and let this wonderful industry we all get to be part of inspire you to do wonderful things that day, and at the end of the day leave you smiling, proud of yourself and your team and producing work you love.

Salon Image As the saying goes, chose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life. Happy valentines to all the nail techs, brand owners, educators, and customers of scratch magazine.
